Please note: grant schemes open, close and change their criteria often. Always check current availability and eligibility with the scheme provider before applying.

Starting or growing a business in Hampshire? Several grants and support programmes are available, many of which are underused simply because business owners do not know about them.

Hampshire County Council and Local Authorities

Business support functions previously run by Local Enterprise Partnerships such as Enterprise M3 have moved to Hampshire County Council and local authorities. Their websites are a good starting point for local resources, networking events and funding signposting.

Start Up Loans

The government backed Start Up Loans scheme offers personal loans of up to £25,000 at a fixed 6% interest rate for new and early stage businesses, with 12 months of free mentoring.

Innovate UK

Businesses developing innovative products or services may be eligible for Innovate UK funding competitions, which cover part of the cost of feasibility studies, research and development.

R&D Tax Relief

Companies spending money on research and development may be able to claim R&D tax relief under the merged scheme or, for R&D intensive SMEs, enhanced support, reducing Corporation Tax or providing a payable credit.

How We Can Help

We help Hampshire businesses identify reliefs and funding they may be missing. Whether you are a start up in Andover or an established business in Southampton, get in touch.
